Savannah Chrisley is thankful President Donald Trump made good on his promise to pardon her parents.

On Wednesday, May 28, the 27-year-old spoke with a group of reporters outside the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida as she waited to pick up her father Todd Chrisley for his early release.

“Honestly, this process has been absolutely insane,” she said in a video obtained by TMZ.

The Chrisley Knows Best star wore all pink for the occasion, including a “Make America Great Again” top and matching trucker hat with Trump’s name on both.

“I am just so grateful that I am gonna leave here with my dad,” she continued, confirming that she and her brother Grayson Chrisley, 19, split up so he could pick up their mother, Julie Chrisley, from a separate prison in Kentucky.

Savannah then explained how Trump, 78, signed the pardons at “around 3 p.m.” that day, and she and her siblings were already set to be with their parents just hours later.

“They have truly just shown up and have looked at this case with a fine-tooth comb, and they’ve seen the corruption,” she said of Trump and those who helped make the pardon possible.

Todd, 56, and his wife Julie, 52, were serving a combined 19 years in prison after being convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud. The reality television couple reported to prison in January 2023.

On Tuesday, May 27, Savannah revealed that Trump personally called her to inform her of the pardons.

“Both my parents are coming home,” she said in an Instagram video. “I could not be more grateful.”

“The President called me personally as I was walking into Sam’s Club and notified me that he was signing pardon paperwork for both of my parents. So, both my parents are coming home tonight or tomorrow. I still don’t believe it’s real. I’m freaking out,” she continued.

Speaking to reporters Wednesday, Savannah said she’d been waiting at the prison to pick up her father since “2 a.m. last night.”

“I’m just a daughter who wants to take my dad home with me,” she said.

When asked how her parents reacted to the news, she said, “They didn’t believe it. It just came out of nowhere.”

“I was just in such shock and in such awe that the president himself called me and took the time to let me know that my family was coming back together,” she continued.

“It was absolutely amazing. It truly was just a human-to-human interaction. Yes, he is our president, but he’s also a person with a heart who loves people. Over the past 24 hours, I’ve gotten so much love and so much hate, and I’ve had people say, ‘Hmm, I wonder what she had to do to get this pardon.’ I didn’t have to do anything other than stand firm in my beliefs and my convictions and fight for my parents and fight for what was right.”

She said Trump has given people “hope in our future,” and not just for those who are “wealthy” or who have “campaigned for him,” but for all.

“He is truly giving everyone a chance at a better life, and for that, I will forever be grateful.”

After confirming the Chrisleys would be returning to reality TV, Savannah said, “It’s all God and President Trump.”
